Materials:
blank journal page, colored pencils, pencil with eraser
Guidelines:
- Go to Wikipedia's article about Elephant Shrews here.
- Find a favorite photo of an Elephant Shrew and using your pencil, make a sketch of it in your journal. Color it in with it's real colors or choose your own colors.
- Add at least five facts about the Elephant Shrew. Include a drawing of it's map range, its size, diet, habitat and behavior.
- You can optionally add more sketches of it's young, habitat, and food it eats. Be creative and imaginative in adding more detailed drawing about your Elephant Shrew such as it's musculature (what you think it looks like without it's fur) and skeleton. Here's a link to some Elephant Shrew skulls from Skulls Unlimited.
